Inside Line Promotions – SELINSGROVE, Pa. (May 9, 2018) – Harli White has a trio of Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by SawBlade.com races on this week’s schedule.
White will venture to Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kan., on Wednesday before visiting Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., on Thursday. She made her debut at both tracks last year.
The weekend will wrap up on Saturday at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark., where her career-best finish of seventh came in 2016.
“I’m excited to get to all three tracks,” she said. “We have notes for all three tracks and hopefully will be on our ‘A’ game at the start of each night. We don’t have as much experience at the two Kansas tracks, but it’s always exciting to go to I-30. I love that track. It’s always tough going there because it’s always very competitive.”
White made her debut in Central Pennsylvania last weekend during the Battle of the Groves doubleheader, which was co-sanctioned with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour and United Racing Club.
The action began on Friday at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, where she placed second in a heat race, eighth in a qualifier and sixth in a B Main.
“We had a good heat race,” she said. “We started on the pole in the qualifier and we got ran over and spun out. It put us in a real bad position. We could have been straight to the A Main if that hadn’t happened. In the B Main I ran third most of the race before Seth Bergman passed me on the outside. I moved up to where he was running and I wasn’t quite comfortable up there and got passed by a couple of cars.”
Selinsgrove Speedway hosted the weekend finale on Saturday. White ended eighth in both a heat race and a B Main.
“It was really hard to pass at both tracks last weekend,” she said. “If you can start up front you’re well off and it’s easier to hold your own than to move forward.
“I enjoyed all the PA fans. They are awesome. I hope we get to go back there again in the near future.”
