Added money from Whitworth Construction will be handed out July 24th in the Street Stock class! Over $1,000 has been added to the purse in the ever popular class which represents the areas best drivers in full bodied outlaw style cars. We wanted to up the start pay more than anything to support those guys that race every week but have yet to win. Fans and Sponsors are always welcome to add to to payout, don't hesitate to ask as we all love this class!
Twenty Three driver from a 3 hr radius have checked into the hummer this year to compete in the Street Stock class, it has been some great racing and stepped up our local racers program.
Scott Stuart leads the points after picking up the win 2 weeks ago,but Devin Irvin trails by only two points after a dnf in his last appearance. Iron Man Dennis Bishop still hasn't missed a race in nearly 25 yrs and sits 3rd in points still working hard each week to earn his first win of the season.
Brandon Weide "the other yellow 67 car" has had his ups and downs this season but is expected to be dialed in looking for his biggest win of his fifteen year career. Other drivers expected to make an appearance are the 99x of Dalton Garrison who has two 2nd place finishes and two dnfs on the shortened season. Chris Kircher make the long tow nearly every week in hopes of collecting his first victory at the "Hummer" but has yet to overcome the talent Humboldt offers. Other Drivers that should be expected include Chris Vannoster of Coffeyville, Patrick or Matthew Kay who has one win on the season, Steve Herrick in his 5k Stock Car, Missouri's Derek Brown, Lewis Jackson, and Robert Garst of Topeka.
