Midwest Mods ran and the driver that had been on a hot start was the 16 of Mathew Kay out front and caught up with lap traffic and tried to get to the outside of a car and they got together and put the 16 car stuck up on top of the front stretch wall. Championship night started off with bang with the opening ceremony and the playing of the National Anthem by guitar player Anthony Schettler. Then the Extrusion Inc. Midwest Mods hit the track.
