The lights might have went out at Humboldt Speedway but they where not out for 75 of Jerrod Reimer in the Auto Tech Super Stock Special because he lead every lap but one in the $1,000 to win feature on Friday night. Well this week catching up on the weekly racing that went on Friday night at Humboldt Speedway. We will start with the USRA Tuners who are still looking for a class sponsor but still put on an awesome finish with the 22A car making a last corner rush to have a super close finish that saw him edge out the 4T of Trenton Wilson. Well the night at Humboldt Speedway went quick do to the fear of raining coming in and trying to spoil the night. The track did not allow that to happen as everybody did there best to keep the night going and got the whole show in with only a light sprinkle in the night. We will start first with the Rays Metal Depot USRA B-Mods as we saw a kid that has been trying to pick up a big win and he got it done on Friday at Humboldt Speedway. The driver is none other that the 17 of Henry Chambers, who started fifth and picked up his first win and was never any happier than that win to be at Humboldt Speedway. Well the night started off with a bang as we ran the rained out A feature from the last time the Extrusion Inc. Midwest Mods ran and the driver that had been on a hot start was the 16 of Mathew Kay out front and caught up with lap traffic and tried to get to the outside of a car and they got together and put the 16 car stuck up on top of the front stretch wall. Rays Metal Depot USRA B-mods where in action on Friday and we saw two team mates on the front with super fast cars. Well from the start had some really good racing between the two as they went back and forth in the 7G of Gabe Hodges and the 5 of Reece Solander but in the end the Gabe Hodges who started on the pole ended up picking up the win. Humboldt was super excited to see all of the rain stay away from the race track on Friday night as it was predicted to be raining at 8pm. Mother nature worked with us and let some great racing happen. It was a great night for the kids at Humboldt speedway as it was there night. The kids at intermission where able to go down on the front stretch at meet all the drivers as we had almost all of our drivers on the front stretch and handing out hero cards and maybe even a special goody bag.
